Itinerary:
The Official Popular Spot for the Panoramic View of Xiahaoli: Exit from the back door of Haoyue Bookstore, walk down the stairs on the right to the viewing platform. The scenery is stunning around sunset when the lights are just on and during the blue - hour. It also has a special charm after dark.
Dongshuimen Bridge Viewing Platform: Located on the platform in front of the Jiuhuajingniang Beer store. You can see the bridge and the buildings on the opposite side light up at 8 p.m.
The Big Red Ball: At THE SABLON (the store at the former site of the Belgian Embassy). You can take pictures of the Dongshuimen Bridge from a unique angle here. After that, when you come out, it's the No.3 entrance/exit of Xiahaoli, where there are interesting slogans on the ground.
Time Selection: It is recommended to visit in the evening. Find a shop and have a sit, and wait until 6 p.m. (in winter) or around 8 p.m. (in summer) when the lights are on to take night - view photos. First visit Longmenhao Old Street, then Xiahaoli. This way, you'll be going downhill at both attractions, which is easier.
Mosquito Prevention: Remember to bring mosquito repellent if you visit in summer as there are quite a lot of mosquitoes here.
Subsequent Itinerary: After visiting Xiahaoli, you can continue your trip to Longmenhao Old Street, Nanbin Road Bell Tower Square, Danzi Stone Old Street, and the South Station of the Yangtze River Cableway to enjoy different beautiful sceneries.
