Itinerary

Mutianyu Great Wall
The Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its well-preserved watchtowers, mountain scenery, and long stretches of restored wall running across the ridges. It offers a great balance between impressive views, history, and a comfortable way to explore the Great Wall.

After arriving at the scenic area, take the shuttle bus to the entrance, followed by the cable car up the mountain. From there, walk along the Great Wall, pass through historic watchtowers, and enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding mountains.
At the end of the visit, instead of taking the cable car back down, you’ll take the toboggan slide down the mountain — one of the most fun and memorable ways to finish a Great Wall visit.
Mutianyu Great Wall
Mutianyu is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved sections of the Great Wall near Beijing. Compared with some of the busier sections, it offers a more relaxed experience, with long stretches of restored wall, historic watchtowers, and dramatic mountain scenery.
Take the shuttle bus and cable car up to the Great Wall, then walk along the ridge between its watchtowers. The route offers plenty of panoramic viewpoints and photo opportunities, while your guide shares stories about the Wall’s construction, military defenses, and the soldiers who once guarded this area.
There is also plenty of time to explore at your own pace, stop for photos, and simply enjoy standing on one of China’s most iconic landmarks surrounded by the mountains.
