Itinerary
Shibati (Eighteen Steps)
Start at Shibati, one of Chongqing’s most atmospheric old neighborhoods. Its stone stairways, narrow alleys, traditional-style buildings, and layered streets create a cinematic backdrop that shows the older side of the city.
This is a great place for natural street portraits with a more nostalgic Chongqing feel.
Deyi World (Cyberpunk Photo Spot)
Next, walk into the neon-lit streets of Deyi World, one of Chongqing’s most popular cyberpunk photography spots.Colorful signs, dense buildings, street lights, and busy nightlife create a futuristic urban atmosphere, making it perfect for dramatic neon portraits.
Shidai Tianjiao (Tian Tai Rooftop) & Raffles City Street View
Head to Shidai Tianjiao, home to the famous Tian Tai Rooftop, for one of the most dramatic rooftop views in downtown Chongqing.
After the rooftop shoot, continue to street level for photos with Raffles City in the background. From carefully selected street-level angles, its futuristic architecture becomes one of the most recognizable backdrops in Chongqing.
Hongya Cave Night View
Finish the tour around Hongya Cave, Chongqing’s most iconic night-view landmark.
For the final photo session, you can choose between two routes:
Option A: Chongqing Grand Theatre
Head across the river to Chongqing Grand Theatre for a panoramic view of Hongya Cave, Qiansimen Bridge, and the illuminated Yuzhong Peninsula. This option is ideal if you want the classic full Hongya Cave night view.
Option B: Kuixing Tower & Daijiaxiang
Visit Kuixing Tower to experience Chongqing’s famous vertical cityscape, where what looks like ground level can actually be more than 20 floors above the streets below.
Then continue to Daijiaxiang, a cliffside walkway with close-up views of Hongya Cave and the surrounding mountain-city skyline. This option is better for layered city portraits and a more immersive Chongqing atmosphere.
