Day 1: Rongjiang Pick-up | Sanbao – Zaidang – Dali Dong Villages
Sanbao Dong Village (三宝侗寨) Begin your journey in one of the largest Dong communities in the region. Sanbao is known for its iconic drum towers and wind-and-rain bridges, which function as the social and cultural heart of the village. Walking through its wooden stilt houses offers a strong introduction to Dong architectural traditions and daily life.
Zaidang Dong Village (宰荡侗寨) Zaidang is a quiet and authentic village best known for preserving the Dong Grand Song tradition. With very few tourists, it provides a rare opportunity to experience local life at a slower pace and observe genuine cultural practices in their original setting.
Dali Dong Village (大利侗寨) Surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, Dali is one of the most scenic Dong villages in Guizhou. Its well-preserved wooden houses and peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal place to experience rural tranquility and traditional lifestyles.
