Day 1 at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Enter the park and ride the famous Bailong Elevator, a glass lift built into the cliff, taking you directly to the top of the towering sandstone pillar landscape.
Explore Yuanjiajie, one of the most spectacular areas in the park. Here you will see the legendary Hallelujah Mountain, the real life inspiration for the floating mountains in Avatar. Walk along cliffside paths and scenic platforms surrounded by dramatic rock formations, often described as a garden in the air.
Continue to Tianzi Mountain, known for its grand panoramic views of endless stone peaks rising from the forest. Take the cable car down, enjoying breathtaking views from above.
After the visit, return to your hotel in Wulingyuan District.
