Evening Half-Day Tour — 4 hours, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Start in Xiaojiahe, pause for dinner or a local snack, experience Ba Ba and Guozhuang square dancing, and finish in the independent creative spaces around Yongfeng Overpass. The dinner or snack stop is included in the itinerary, but food and drinks are at your own expense.

Wukuaishi Vintage/Wholesale Market
Wukuaishi is more than a vintage market. Near Chengdu’s northern railway hub, browse second hand tapes, records, cameras, and picture story books, while encountering the traders, repairers, and sound system makers who keep this constantly changing market alive.


Star(Xingxing) Dance Hall (Optional)
Step into a traditional dance hall where generations of Chengdu residents gather to dance, socialize, and enjoy their afternoons and nights. Experience a form of local urban culture that continues alongside the city’s newer creative scenes.


Yulin Market
Wander through Yulin’s lively streets, starting from a local market and moving into old residential lanes filled with small restaurants, independent spaces, and neighborhood life. Discover the everyday atmosphere that has long attracted artists, musicians, and young people looking for a more relaxed way of living.


Xiaojiahe Community
Walk through Xiaojiahe, home to a diverse Tibetan community from across western Sichuan. Stop at a Tibetan café founded by local creator Dongzhou and see how community, culture, and contemporary city life come together in Chengdu.



Local Dinner in Old Noodle Shop
The old local noodle shop would be the best place for dinner. The taste and type of noodle can vary from shop to shop depending on which part of Sichuan the shop owner comes from. The side dish for noodles can also be diverse. The owners coming from the nearby cities and places from Chengdu also form the everyday "nearby" of Chengdu.
Ba Ba & Guozhuang Square Dance
As night falls, we would walk around one of Chengdu’s most culturally diverse neighborhoods. In one of the public square, we will join the gatherings of "Ba Ba" square dance mixed with Guozhuang dance, learning embodiedly how the migrant community is actively occupying the urban space and recreating the homeland with sound and movement.


Yongfeng Overpass Area
Cycle beneath a green-covered overpass and pass through a cluster of independent bars, clubs, and live music spaces hidden around the bridge. Meet local young people who gather here regularly, chat with musicians and creative communities, and experience Chengdu’s youth culture through the people who continue to shape it.





Evening Half-Day Tour Itinerary
Duration: 4 hours, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
A focused evening route through Chengdu’s Tibetan community, local food culture, public dancing, and independent nightlife. Exact timing may shift slightly depending on the group’s pace and on-the-ground conditions.
5:00 PM — Xiaojiahe
Begin in Xiaojiahe and explore a neighborhood shaped by Tibetan communities from across western Sichuan, where local culture and contemporary city life meet.
Dinner or Local Snack Stop
Time is set aside for dinner or a local snack during the route. Food and drinks are at your own expense.
Ba Ba & Guozhuang Square Dance
As night falls, join a neighborhood gathering where Ba Ba square dancing meets Guozhuang dance, and experience how sound and movement bring public space to life.
Yongfeng Overpass Area
Finish among the independent bars, clubs, live music spaces, and creative communities around Yongfeng Overpass.
9:00 PM — The tour ends in the Yongfeng Overpass area.
