Day 1: Guizhou – Zhusha Ancient Town – Fanjingshan

8:00: Depart from Guiyang, heading towards Zhusha Ancient Town. Enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive.

13:00: Arrive at Zhusha Ancient Town. Begin the exploration with the famous Gorge Trail, passing through iconic sites like Fairy Stone, One Line Sky, and the stunning Twin Dragon Waterfall.

17:00: Depart Zhusha Ancient Town and drive approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to Fanjingshan Scenic Area.

Day 2: Fanjingshan Scenic Area – Guiyang

10:00: Enter Fanjingshan Scenic Area. Discover the spectacular natural landscapes, including the Mushroom Rock and the Red Cloud Golden Summit. Delve into the area’s Buddhist heritage by visiting Cheng’en Temple and other sacred sites.

17:00: Taste local snacks and dishes within the scenic area, soaking in the serene atmosphere.

18:00: Depart from Fanjingshan, embarking on a 3.5-hour drive back to Guiyang, where your tour concludes with a return to your hotel.

Itinerary

Red Cloud Golden Summit

At an altitude of 2,336 meters, it is the highest point of Mount Fanjing. From the summit, you can overlook the magnificent sea of clouds and surrounding mountains. This is the best location for photographing sunrises, where the beauty of the golden peak is breathtaking. The “cloud waterfall” phenomenon and the “Buddha’s light” spectacle here are truly unforgettable.

Cheng’en Temple

This historic temple is located on the slopes of Fanjing Mountain and houses statues of Shakyamuni Buddha and Maitreya Buddha. The temple’s architectural style is unique, blending traditional Buddhist culture with natural landscapes, creating a sense of tranquility and sacredness.

Cable Car

Glide up to the heights of Mount Fanjing on a cableway stretching 3,411 meters with a vertical rise of 1,200 meters. In just twenty minutes, you are carried above rolling forests and drifting clouds, with stunning sights of Mushroom Rock and the Red Cloud Golden Summit unfolding below.

Zhusha Ancient Town

Once China’s “Mercury Capital,” Zhusha Ancient Town transforms its mining past into adventure. Explore cliffside boardwalks, the mysterious “Underground Great Wall,” and retro streets steeped in history and culture.

Yixiantian (One-Line Sky)

At the narrowest point of this canyon, only one person can pass through at a time. Overhead, water drips gently from the towering rock walls, while beams of sunlight filter through the thin crack above, creating a dreamlike path that feels like stepping into a natural “time tunnel.”
